Although political leaders always shout for FREE and INDEPENDENT NEPAL, it seems that major political parties are directly influenced by India from a tiny issue to national issue. Hence political parties of Nepal are major responsible to make Nepal independent from India. India seems to be a key player in Nepalese mathematics from several years ago.
Here are some measures which should be adopted by Nepal and Nepalese people to become independent from India:
1. Nepal should increase its number of universities (at lest 75 universities in 75 districts) to break the growing dependence on Indian education.
2. Although Nepal share its open border with India without implementation of Visa and Passport, at least Citizenship card (if applicable Passport) should be verified in border by security personnel for citizens of both countries.
3. Nepal Rastra Bank (i.e. Central Bank of Nepal) should also perform its monetary operations from other banks and not only solely depend on Reserve Bank of India.
4. Railway track should be developed to meet Beijing from the Tibetean border which can make Nepal independent from India on various sources like gas, oil, petroleum products, foods and grains, seeds and fertilizers etc
5. Nepal should develop METRO TRAIN in major city like Kathmandu, Pokhara, Dharan and Biratnagar etc (at least in Kathmandu to overcome the overpopulation and huge traffic)
6. Nepal should develop at least two other International Airports other than Kathmandu area, perhaps in Lumbini (birth place of Lord Buddha) or at Pokhara (major tourist hub of Nepal)
7. Either Nepalese vehicles should also run on roads of Delhi or else they should banned running on roads of Kathmandu.
8. Political parties should immediately stop their growing dependence on India.
9. Results of the various exams (say 10, 12) should be published within 20 - 25 working days, and results of other various programs (BSc, BBA, BE, BCA, BPH, BN, BTech, MBA, MTech, MCA, MSc, ME, MPH, MN etc) must be published within 30 days by universities in Nepal.
10. Ministry of Education, at the time of giving No Objection Letter must verify the existence and validation of the university / institution where the student want to enroll.
From the above points, we can summarize that to get rid of growing dependence on India, Nepal should possess strong will and interest. Political leader should also think of their country development rather of their own. They should provide the right track to the nation stop over dependence on other countries. Nepal is around 80 % responsible for this problem but Nepal can improve the condition which is possible. There should not be increased in number of political parties in Nepal whereas there should be Nepalese people like *. RABINDRA MISHRA (Founder, Help Nepal Network),
*. Dr. SANDUK RUIT (Eye Surgeon, Ramon Magsaysay Award 2006),
*. PUSHPA BASNET (Founder, ECDC, CNN Hero 2012),
*. SHAKTI GROUP (Non-Profit Organization against women traffiking, Ramon Magsaysay Award 2013),
*. ANURADHA KOIRALA (Founder, Maiti Nepal, CNN Hero 2010),
*. MAHABIR PUN (Teacher, Developed Wireless Technology in Himalayas, Ramon Magsaysay Award 2007).
*. JAGDISH GHIMIRE (Writer and Social activist, Founder, Tilganga Eye Hospital, TSS)
In regard to point 10 - But to study in private Universities or Colleges, there is no need of NOC, how can then Ministry of Education control and verify it?
